Enhanced Usage Report
- The usage report in the reports section has
been enhanced to better help you prepare for our shows. There is now
an option to format the report better when printing to a printer and
also, you can now include sequence numbers when printing a report to
prepare for a show. The report also supports a download to Excel
option.
Resend ASN - You can now resend an ASN for
any invoice. Simply click on My Invoices and then click the invoice number
desired. Click the Send ASN button on the right and the ASN will be sent to you
using the format and method you have set up in your Preferences.
Option to Exclude Zero Quantity Items in Inventory Search - There is
now an option to exclude items from inventory search results if the item has no
quantity on hand. Simply click the checkbox on the inventory search screen to
activate this feature when doing inventory searches.
New Usage Report - There is a new customer usage
report available under the Reports section. This version will show monthly
purchases (quantity) by item number for up to a 12 month period. It will be
available as a report on the screen that can be printed as well as a download.
The existing usage reports will remain in the Downloads section as before.
E-Statement Option - You can now choose to have your
statements emailed to you in pdf format. Go to the
Preferences option under Account Admin to activate e-statements.
Last Ordered Info - The View Cart screen will now
show the Last Ordered Date for each item in your cart. If you have never
ordered an item before, a message will indicate this in red print. Please check
these items to be sure you have entered the correct part number.
Order Line Comments -You can now enter line item
comments for each item in your cart. The inventory detail screen (lower left
corner of inventory lookup) allows for comments to be entered when the item is
added to the cart from that screen. Items added using other methods (quick add
etc) can have comments entered on the View Cart screen. These comments will be
printed on the packing slip and invoice.
Items on Other Orders - A new feature has been added
that will notify you during the checkout process if any items in your cart are
currently open on an existing order. The order number, line number and amount
left to ship will be shown. This should help avoid ordering duplicate items.
Menu Changes - Some changes have been made to the
menu at the top left of the screen and some features have been relocated.
Please click
here to see the new layout. These changes should make the site easier to
navigate with related functions grouped in a more logical fashion.
Invoices in PDF Format - Invoices can now be
viewed in the same format as the printed version. Click on My Invoices and then
click any invoice number. On the right side of the screen you will see a link
to View Invoice in PDF Format. Click the link to view the invoice. This
requires that you have the free Adobe Reader software installed on your

New Freight Policy - The new freight policy is now
in effect. Click here
to view the details of the new policy.
Return Authorization - You can now view the status
of RMA’s that
you have submitted. Click on Dealer Tools and then RMA Lookup to access the new
feature.
Share Carts - A new 'Share Cart' feature has
been added to allow dealers to grant access to their carts to their sales rep.
Once a cart is set to 'shared', your sales rep will be able to view and update
the cart as if it were their own. Only the primary sales rep on your account
will have access to your carts. Click on 'Change Cart' and follow the
instructions for sharing carts to access this new feature.
Retail Price Setup - A new feature has been added to
allow you to setup your own retail price margins by brand and product category.
Once a retail margin has been setup for an item category, all items in that
category will have the calculated retail price shown on the website as well as
on the invoice (if desired, see below). There is also the option of setting up
specific retail margins for an individual item on a limited basis as needed.
These new features can be found by clicking Dealer Tools followed by Retail
Setup.
Retails on Invoices - You can now determine which
pricing information gets printed on your Big Rock Sports invoices. You can
choose any two retails (minimum, suggested or dealer configured) as well as
whether or not the normal catalog price is printed along with the actual net
price, which is standard on all invoices. Click on Dealer Tools followed by
Preferences to access this new feature.
Unlimited Cart Size - A new cart system has been
installed. Whereas the old system had a limit to the number of items that could
be placed into a single cart, the new system will allow unlimited items to be
placed into a single cart. Also, you can now log into the site multiple times
with the same user id without killing the previous logins.
Email Option for Hotlist - You can
now have an email notification sent whenever items on your Hotlist
become available. To activate the email, click on Dealer Tools, Preferences and
click the appropriate box. You must have a valid email address entered to
enable this option.
Catalog Browse - You can now browse the Big Rock
Sports catalogs online. To access the viewer, click on Dealer Tools and then
Catalog Browse. You can select from available catalogs, page forward and
backward, jump to a specific page or search for items. The current catalogs
available are the Henrys fall catalog, Western Region fall catalog, CSI Sports
fall catalog and the Ice Fishing catalog. Spring catalogs will be added soon.
You can view the catalog as an Adobe PDF (requires Adobes PDF reader software)
or you can view the catalogs as regular HTML (no software required). To select
the format go to Dealer Tools and Preferences.
New Reports -Two new reports have been added
to the Reports section. The first report, Customer Purchases by Item #, will
allow you to enter an item number and a date range and have a report produced
of all purchases of that item for the date range specified. The second report,
Customer Backorder report, will allow you to enter a date range and produce a
report of all items currently on backorder. Check out these reports by clicking
on REPORTS from the top menu.
Catalog Viewing Now Available - You can now view our printed catalog
pages online! Currently, the Henrys Fall Catalog is available with additional
catalogs being added in the coming days and weeks. The inventory search detail
screen currently shows the catalog page the item is found on. If a page is
viewable this information will now be clickable to bring up the actual page in
PDF format. Please note you will need Adobe Reader installed on your PC. This
software can be downloaded free from Adobe's website.
Save 10% on Planogram Sets - Planogram sets can now be added to your cart
with a single click. As well, you will receive 10% off each item in the set
along with a free POP kit. To order your set, click on Dealer Tools and then Planograms. Please note that to get the special pricing,
you must add the set through the Planogram link and
all items in the set must be ordered at the recommended quantities depending on
the set ordered.
New Administration Module - A
new module has been added to allow you to maintain your account as well as set
up new accounts for your store. To access this module click on Administration.
You will need to enter your password to enter the module. Once you are in you
can change your password, name, email address etc. The current login you use
will be designated as the master account. From the master account you can add
sub-accounts and you can specify what functions these sub-accounts have access
to. Adding sub-accounts will allow you to have several people logged in to the
web site at the same time.
File Upload to Cart - You can now
upload orders into your web shopping cart. This allows you to quickly load
multiple items into your cart without having to enter them individually. To
access this feature go to Dealer Tools and click Upload File. Click
here for a description of allowable formats and specific instructions for
ARS customers.
Order Status E-Mails - You can now
elect to have order acknowledgment and shipping notification e-mails delivered
to your inbox. To turn on this feature, click on Dealer Tools and then
Preferences. Click the box next to Send Order Status Emails to activate the
e-mails. You will need to enter a valid e-mail address as well as select which
style of e-mail you would like to receive. The notifications will be sent as
attachments and you can choose from two formats: Text (open with Wordpad) and Comma Delimited (open with Excel or similar
spreadsheet). Be sure to click Update to save your selections. Check back for
more e-mail features in the coming weeks!
Order Checkout - The last step of the
checkout process now gives you the option of selecting which shipments you wish
to submit for processing. For each shipment on your order there will be three
options shown in blue on step 2 of the checkout process. To have a shipment
sent in for processing, select the top option. To prevent a shipment from being
processed but keep the items in the cart, select the middle option. To cancel a
shipment and remove the items from the cart, select the bottom option. This
selection must be done for each shipment on the order.
Confirming Items - You can now confirm
quantities in your cart for 3 days. For example, if you confirm an item on
Wednesday the confirmation will not expire until Friday at 12:00 Midnight. To
confirm items, add them to your cart and then click on View Cart. Click

Dealer Re-order Report - This
new tool, found under the Dealer Tools link, will allow you to enter a date and
have the system show you all purchases you have made from any Big Rock Sports
company since that date. You can narrow the results down to just show fishing
or hunting items. The last ordered quantity and date will also be shown.
Once the items are displayed you can easily add them to your cart for
re-ordering.
Hotlist Comments - You
can now add comments to your Hotlist items. After
adding an item to your Hotlist, click on Dealer Tools
and then Hotlist. Add comments to each item as
desired. Click Update Comments when finished.
