Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generates orders for products or services within designated product categories;
- Builds sales with Big Rock Sports customers of record;
- Execute promotional events for assigned customers;
- Work with demand planning to forecast and build seasonal sales opportunities;
- Assists with account coverage, inventory reviews, returns, and drop ship order inquiries;
- Keys orders into system;
- Prepares monthly report outlining customer information that has a potential impact on Big Rock Sports sales and service;
- Attends/works customer events in the territory;
- Must own and maintain a mode of transportation to properly work and travel within in their designated area of responsibility;
- Must have a good understanding of the Sporting Goods Industry
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Capable of forming solutions with customers in all situations;
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Based in the Portland Metro area
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- College degree or equivalent job experience preferred
- Hunting and fishing industry and/or retail/wholesale experience preferred
